Accessibility Statement

Formento Restauri is committed to making its website accessible. This accessibility statement applies to “Formento Restauri”, which is committed to testing, correcting, and maintaining the website formentorestauri.it in compliance with the relevant sections of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and with European regulations and directives on web accessibility.

Compliance status

Partial compliance statement: “Partially compliant” This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Appendix A of the current UNI CEI EN 301549 standard, due to the non-compliant elements listed below.

Non-accessible content

Main landmark not perceivable by keyboard The main landmark on the homepage is not clearly perceivable via keyboard, making navigation difficult for blind or visually impaired users.

Inconsistent reading order and heading hierarchy In some sections, the reading order and heading hierarchy are not correctly set, compromising keyboard accessibility and assistive technology comprehension.

Skipped heading levels Some heading levels are skipped (e.g., they go from H1 to H4) on some pages, without a coherent logical hierarchy.

Inconsistent focus order in multiple sections Not all interactive elements follow a coherent focus order, making keyboard navigation difficult.

Duplicate and separate links in the markup Multiple sections contain adjacent links which point to the same URL but which are separated in the code, causing redundancy for screen-reader users.

Absence or inadequacy of alternative text for images and icons Some visual content (images and icons) does not have adequate alternative text (alt text) or is not correctly marked as decorative.

Missing or incorrectly associated form labels In some sections, forms have labels that are missing or not semantically associated with the fields, hindering completion through assistive technology.

Buttons with content hidden from screen readers Some buttons contain content marked as aria-hidden=”true”, preventing screen readers from correctly identifying their purpose.

Insufficient visual contrast between text and background In one section, insufficient contrast between the text and background was detected, which may compromise legibility for visually impaired users.

Reasons: the issues currently present on the website were identified through technical testing and simulations using assistive technology. A progressive remediation plan has already been launched to ensure compliance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines. All the necessary corrective actions are currently being evaluated and will be implemented during upcoming site updates. The goal is to continuously improve access and the user experience for all people, regardless of their abilities.
